We are searching for a General Manager, Sales & Marketing, who will direct and coordinate activities at all locations to increase productivity and maximize profits. The right person for the job will possess entrepreneurial, sales and marketing, and financial competencies with strong leadership skills.
Lead company in sales and marketing initatives
Responsible for driving new sales/growth company-wide
Manage sales personnel company-wide
Support CFO in preparing monthly financial and other management reports
Prepare yearly sales budget and assist subsidiary Client as needed in preparing their budgets
Make sure that strategic objectives are communicated to the staff and coordinate with staff for best implementation of those objectives
Work with the COO and CFO to oversee the financial management of the company, including a yearly capital expenditures proposal
Be involved in the decision-making and implementation of financial, quality, sales, and purchasing key decisions
Create financial reports and analysis to help identify problems and improvement opportunities
Coordinate with Senior Management, Production Managers and Sales to assure production plan matches market demand and goals
Serve as a financial reports expert for the sales team and other company officials as needed
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required for this position.
Degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or Horticulture
15 years+ professional experience in the above listed fields.
Experience with perishable goods a plus
Strong strategic thinker
Strong sales management background
Expert MS Software Skills
Spanish and English bilingual candidate preferred
