Medical Device Lead Business Development Manager ( Remote position )

This a remote position seeking someone in the South East States only at this time.

Seeking a Business Development Leader for a leading medical device and software company in the respiratory, speech therapy and athletic industries that develops FDA registered therapeutic medical and athletic performance devices for healthcare professionals, patients, athletes and the military.  

In the medical world, we specialize in COPD, Asthma, Sleep Apnea, Parkinson's, CHF, Hypertension, and Dysphagia.  In the human performance world, we specialize in helping professional athletes, military, and amateur athletes improve respiratory performance.   Our customer types include hospitals, home health, outpatient rehab, skilled nursing, distributors, professional teams along with avid health enthusiast seeking an affordable performance differentiator that is evidenced based and drug-free with over 1,100,000 devices prescribed worldwide.

We are looking for a unique person who embodies our core values to assume the role of the Leader of Sales and Business Development. We seek a person who has high integrity, true grit, demonstrated an appreciation and respect for others, who truly believes in our products and sees the value that has in the market and understands how to market, find, and to get in front of the correct buyers of the product.

Establish and maintain close relationships with new clients and existing accounts by:

Prospecting and calling new potentials that fit the targeted profile
Closing on opportunities already in our pipeline.
Meeting in person with clients to present and demonstrate our Medical and Athletic products and explain their benefits
Maintaining positive contact with clients to monitor their satisfaction
On-boarding new customers as you close them.
Manage a strong pipeline of opportunities and report on your KPI's in weekly team sales meetings.
Following up with clients to identify opportunities to increase sales volume and profitability
Resolving problems with clients, if they occur
Making decisions within limits regarding product pricing to improve sales and increase profitability
Keep prompt and accurate records and documentation for reporting and feedback
Work closely with CEO and sales team to identify ways to increase sales volume and customer satisfaction.
Attend trade shows and conferences
Help the company refine the sales process and help build a team and mentor them how to be successful.


Certification as a Physical Therapist or Occupational, Speech Language Pathologist, Skilled Nurse, or Respiratory Therapist is a plus.  We will also consider certifications in human performance.
Clinical and technical understanding of respiratory, cardiac, speech therapy and/or athletic performance and physiology.

3+ years of sales experience. Medical device sales or Athletic device sales a plus.
Expert level understanding of how to sell to distributors, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, private practice, home health companies, therapy rehab facilities, retail establishments, and/or athletic organizations.

Ability to communicate at all levels within an organization
Friendly and personable phone presence
Polished presentation skills 
Video conferencing experience
CRM experience (Salesforce, HubSpot, or comparable)
Strong ability to capture your notes daily and rely on the CRM system is a must.
Ability to travel up when need to close business.  

Expert phone and video sales skills a must.  Sales activities will be 90% over the phone and 10% Face to Face.
