VALiNTRY is seeking an expert architect level resource to upgrade and expand the Active Directory environment for an International Conglomerate Enterprise.
Currently the client has active directory set up with AD Server 2008 R2. There are 20 RODCS on AD Server 2016 and 9 hosted with RS on AD Server 2008 R2 and 2016 R2 mix. They host a single domain providing DNS, only a few provide file services and print services focused on East coast. West coast has nothing. The goal is to review the current topology and analyze the redundancy in place, taking into account scalability and ease to maintain current sites and to ability add, as an expansion is taking place over the next 5 years. The client does not use AD Federation services and there are currently 1,000+ users who need to authenticate.
The goal of the engagement is to review what is in place and develop a recommended design to handle all authentication services for US based and international based offices and users who work remote. Cloud and on-site hosting are both options.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Active directory and versions from 2008 to the current versions in release today. They must have designed AD solutions for large companies with a Worldwide footprint and remote workforce. Must have experience with designing solutions that also provide single sign-on capabilities for future road map of business applications. Experience with Azure AD and hosted AD a requirement
The position will be client facing as well. The ideal candidate must have good interpersonal and communication skills and be able to negotiate and work with different personalities at the client. Collaboration and teamwork are key strength
Remote work is an option, but it would require some time on-site for requirements, design presentation and turnover upon completion.
