Salesforce Administrator

We are seeking a Salesforce Administrator to join the Commercial Enablement team. Reporting to the Salesforce Technical Team Lead, this person will be fully responsible for supporting the maintenance and growth of Salesforce with flawless execution. In this role, you will also serve as the primary point of contact for users who require support. As a partner to the Sales Enablement team, you will be responsible for translating business requirements into technical requirements or stories for development. You will be the internal expert for Salesforce functionality. The ideal candidate is customer focused, action oriented & committed to driving exceptional results.
  • Serve as primary Salesforce system administrator for a global org with 450+ users Understand & translate the sales strategy, business goals and Global Account Management processes into a solution that meets the needs for complex user requirements
  • Coordinate and support future implementations and configurations, including evaluation, scope and completion of new development requests
  • Perform all tasks related to the day-to-day operation of Salesforce, including user management, creating & maintaining custom objects and fields, handling bulk data migration, and maintenance of page layouts
  • Respond to issues & requests from users throughout the global organization, including technical & functional issue resolution, data load management, data quality and training on new features & functionality Identify & support the implementation of new Salesforce features & functions in response to business needs, while managing a timely release schedule for system enhancements
  • Ensure proper documentation on Business Requirements, Training Materials, Functional Design, Process & Data Flows, Use Cases & Test Plans / Scripts Drive user adoption & best practices to further the long-term success of the system
  • Ensure an operationally effective team by establishing and challenging process to support administrative, development and change management activities
  • Communicate project status to executive stakeholders via status reports & project meetings
  • Own the daily functional relationship with vendors, consultants and Salesforce support
  • Develop & maintain reports, dashboards, workflows & sharing rules within Salesforce to improve visibility to activities, pipeline & forecast
  • Complete regular internal system audits and prepare for upgrades
  • Analyze the existing implementation of Salesforce and make recommendations for improvement or best practices Stay current with periodic Salesforce releases and advise management on applicable updates & feature enhancements
  • Participate actively in change management efforts to implement better practices, new processes & improvements in overall performance
