We are looking for a full-time permanent employee to become part of a growing consultancy with specific Supply Chain expertise.
This individual will be responsible for the overall success of client engagements, as well as running the day to day activities of a workstream within the project, depending on skill set requirements. This is a high-visibility role, requiring a strong individual with exemplary communication skills and an analytical mind set.
Minimum 5 years experience in the Supply Chain Arena with at least one of the major MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, JDE etc.)
Understanding of the overall Supply Chain industry including: Value Chain Planning/Execution, Product Lifecycle Management, Advanced Procurement, demand Planning, Forecasting, Sales and Operations Planning, Shop Floor Control, Order Management, and Fulfillment, WMS.
Strong business process knowledge of the Manufacturing/Distribution functional areas.
At least two full implementation experiences with multiple site configurations and set up of a major MRP system.
Develop prototype planning toolsets to simulate and use in early stages of implementations
Understand MRP integration methodology and ability to understand and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
Broad, in-depth knowledge of the manufacturing and distribution industry, including industry best practices and trends.
Provide support for the planning, design, integration and implementation of MRP systems.
Participate in systems design and test by assisting in planning and testing through conference room pilot.
Continuously gains an understanding of the customers' needs and how systems are used in support of their operations, transferring knowledge to users.
Develop plan, manage and delivery ROI projections for MRP implementations including labor savings, service level improvements, inventory optimization, changeover optimization, freight optimization, and procurement spend optimization.
We are looking for well qualified candidates who can confidently support their experience across most of these areas:
• Ten or more years of professional (post-academic) work experience
• Five or more years of experience in a management consulting role
• APICS CPIM
• SIX SIGMA BLACKBELT
• An MBA a plus
• Ability to travel to client sites (typically Monday – Thursday) on a weekly basis
• Strong leadership skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Strong organizational, coordination, facilitation, consultation and conflict resolution skills
